Hilton Motif Seattle

Additional info

  • Location: Seattle, Wasington
  • Content: Hilton Motif Seattle’s 319-guestroom and corridor renovation is inspired by the Emerald City’s notorious arts culture and weather. This guest-centric, forward-thinking brand gave us the opportunity to throw out the rules, design from the heart and amuse the senses. With our roots firmly planted in Seattle, our team drew from the pillars of our city’s creative soul: music, art & design, culinary arts, fashion and community.

All the art is created through local artists from the striking mural art walls that are bold and representative of the Seattle Scene, to the bathroom framed art print made up of record covers from notable Washington musicians. (Can you name all the artist in the piece?) Guest Corridors have large scale photographic abstractions of the City’s landmarks showcased with dramatic lighting.

The materials provide a warmth and familiarity for the guest with a little delight thrown in. Muted tones, paired with warm, natural woods from the Pacific Northwest, are struck with bolder, sophisticated accents such as lacquer finishes, citron colors and edgy velvet textures, feel at once comfortable and surprising. Gracious seating areas and thoughtful details such as the rainy-day corner to hang outdoor gear serves as a welcome point for the guest.

These touches and more weave a high-end, residential-feeling guestroom that is distinctly different and distinctly Seattle.
