Working with D&D
In keeping with our practice of integrated architecture + interiors, every project team is made up of both architects and interior designers from Day One.
Ours is a collaborative studio environment. We like to say that every project is the product of the entire firm, not just a few individuals.
The Managing Principals are actively engaged on all projects backed up by senior project managers who oversee the day-to-day development of each project. The people you meet at the interview are the people that you will work with.
Every project is unique and demands its own vision. We begin your project with a vision phase where it’s explored on both philosophical and pragmatic levels. Goals are identified, but most importantly, we search for what makes the project unique and what opportunities that brings for design.
D&D is committed to staying on the leading edge of architectural technology, not only to communicate design intent to our clients but to ultimately design and construct better projects.
"We are a mid-sized firm: large enough to competently take on the magnitude of significant projects that interest us, yet small enough to stay connected to our work, our employees and our clients."
